Got this XDJ-XZ, factory sealed brand new in the box. This is the first time I see such crappy quality control from Pioneer DJ. The color FX knob on channel 1 was not pushed in. I also noticed that all four channel faders and crossfaders are crooked. Instead of sitting leveled on the fader stem, there is a tilt. The one from channel one rubs against the faceplate when I raise it up. I've been trying to get this unit to work with Serato, but it is not working. On Rekordbox, the audio comes thru with glitches. I have never had these issues with my other controllers. I've never seen this bad and I have owned the DDJ-1000, DDJ-400, DDJ-200, DJM-500 and many more Pioneer gear. Should I send it back and get a replacement?
If you're not satisfied with it, absolutely - take it back! There may be a delay in getting a replacement as global stock is short due to the supply chain issues, but they can help you out.
