FINDING KICK WITH YOUR EARS METHOD ON XDJRR. NEED HELP
hi all, I have purchased the xdjrr and I am trying to find the kick by using your ears method, where you use the search buttons and listen for the click, the first loud click, then it dulls back to the quicker clicks to set that perfect cue point. I can do it on my mate xdjrx2 but I can not work out how to use this on my xdj rrs! I need help asap as its throwing off my transitions using the jog wheels to set cue points as they are ever so slightly off by a couple of milliseconds and I can notice it. Thank you

The vinyl button for jog mode is not working on either side and I'm trying to set my cue points perfectly using that method. Controller is only 2 weeks old.and I have a gig this weekend so trying to work it out asap.

I viewed the video... I have not such controller, but I wonder if the behavior is a documented real "feature" or just kind of a bug.
Because in the video the guy switches the jog mode from Vinyl to CD when playback is paused, and then it starts kind-of a very short loop which he is then using to adjust the cue point.

If the controller won't go into Vinyl mode then it needs to be looked at for possible repair, but first try to update the firmware in case that hasn't been done.
