It's likely that the drive is formatted in a method that the CDJ doesn't recognize. Is the drive FAT32, HFS+ (macOS Journaled), exFAT, NTFS...?

FollowCDJ2000 invalid format
Hi all,
Apologies if it is a repeat post, I have gone through the forums unsuccessfully.
I DJ on occasion at a nightclub which has CDJ2000(not nexus) and 3 out of 4 USB's I bring show 'invalid format' once the USB tries to load(I have 4 USB's 2 samsung & 2 sandisk- I do not have an issue on CDJ3000's or RX2/3(As I have these) - I am thinking it is a firmware issue on the CDJ2000 themselves, however as they are not mine I don't think they would appreciate me updating the firmware, I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or a workaround to rectify. I have tried reformatting the USB's that have the issue to no luck.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!

Sorry, all USB's are formatted FAT32
So did the drive load or was it a problem loading a song?
It attempts to load the USB, then fails to load and say 'invalid format'
Could be the drive is FAT32 with GUID instead of MBR; did you format with a Mac or PC?
Formatted with PC, via MiniTool Partition Wizard, I only have the issue on CDJ2000's - 3000's works fine
Likely an incompatibility with the drive and the player - here's the standard disclaimer:
Pioneer DJ does not guarantee 100% compatibility with any USB drive. Functionality of one drive does not guarantee functionality of another identical make / model drive. Manufacturers are known to change the memory controller chip per availability or cost, and as a result, there is always a chance that a drive may not be compatible with the player host chipset. Recommendations or the results of another user may not be the same for you and your drive.
