DDJ 1000 Rekordbox DVS Setup

There's nothing in there about how to connect and configure setting up 4 decks with DVS and the DDJ 1000

I have a core plan, i signed up to it yesterday as it said I would get DVS control. I also have the interface 2 system for rekordbox DVS

There are some tricks with that -- you don't actually need the Core plan if you have the Interface2, it just has to be connected via USB. You can use the audio interface from the DDJ-1000 as the input / output.

You can only run two decks at a time with either of those devices, and unfortunately they cannot be used in combination for 4 deck DVS control.

As fore the setup, the guide is basically the same as what @Ves posted; are you on Mac or PC?

Thanks for clearing this up. Is there a different controller that would support 4 deck mixing with DVS and USBs/laptop? I find it incredible that Pioneer have the DDJ 1000 SRT for a rival platform but not a controller that supports 4 deck mixing with DVS on their own software

In your comment you mention they cannot be used in combination for 4 deck DVS control- that's not what i'm after. I'd like to use channel 3/4 for DVS and channel 1/2 to play tracks direct from rekordbox. is this possible? or do i need to use two laptops?

You can use all 4 decks, but as the DJS only has phono inputs on channels 3/4, you would use those for DVS control and 1/2 for DDJ control.

Why would you want to use a controller for 4ch of DVS input? You already have two decks worth of controller. In that case, use a mixer instead.
