Weird alphabetical issue, 5.8.5 & music app catalina

Hi guys. 

everything has been smooth for me on catalina but recently I tried creating new playlists on the music app as I’ve done countless times in iTunes in the past. 

The issue is that now even though a playlists name starts by 1 or a and is on top of all other playlists alphabetically in the music app, in rekordbox and in turn my usb key, these new playlists are at the bottom. 

Ive tried the obvious stuff like reboots, export music app playlists, rename them other letters all together and they always appear in the bottom. 

any help would be appreciate as this ruins my workflow.
