XDJ-RX2 Sound quality: USB/Export vs Performance Mode
Hi there,
I'm the proud owner of an XDJ-RX2. Been used to running it through USB since it's acquisition (transcode FLAC to WAV -> rekordbox analysis -> USB). I recently decided to try Performance Mode, and... Man, I've been missing out on a very cool feature. Straight ahead I noted a noticeable improvement in sound quality, and was left wondering why that might be the case, especialy since I'm going through the same internal RX2 sound card to my amp. Any ideas ? Are my ears deceiving me ?

Idk about sound quality, but I think the audio files seem a bit louder to me when using Performance mode. It may very well be the USB that you are using. I record mixes straight from my RX2 to the USB-2 and the sound quality always sounds as good when using Performance mode on my MBP 2020.
Version 1.33 of the RX2 Firmware? Try getting up to 1.38 - many improvements.
