DDJ 400 Sound after update

Hello everyone

I recently purchased my first controller (DDJ 400) and during my trial on rekordbox I had no problems. but when I went from rekordbox 5 to 6 something changed. I didnt get any sound from my speakers so I changed went to Preferences and managed to fix it. However when I did the sound stopped coming from my headset, so its seems I cant listen to my tracks on my headset before I put them out for people to hear. I dont know if this is a easy fix, but like I said I'm new so would appreciate the help
