Have you had the master out work before with different speakers of cables? Also can you test the master out with TRS to TRS?

Controller not sending signal to speakers
I have a DDJ-SR and recently got some M- Audio monitors, however there is no sound from the speakers. The speakers definitely work and my controller out-puts do too as I have tried both with other equipment, same with the cables. When I go from the booth out using RCA to TRS there was sound but at a very low volume, even with everything cranked. When I go master out, TRS to XLR, there is no signal at all, and no sound. Why is this happening?
