I have since managed to get some of my old playlists back through one of the old backup databases, but all my new playlists and folders I organised today and yesterday are gone :((((

HELP! HELP! Rekordbox crash deleted all my playlists
Was reorganising my rekordbox and went to create a new playlist when it lagged out for a second then suddenly all my playlists disappeared! My collection is still there with all my music in, but all my folders and playlists are gone.
I went to look at the automatic database backup files (I had not done a manual back up for ages), and following the instructions on https://www.djresource.eu/Forum/topic/37866/Rekordbox-recover-deleted-Playlists/, attempted to rename the oldest backup to make it the current database. This did not change anything.
I have also noticed some of my settings such as coloured RGB waveforms have been reverted to blue waveforms. There are also some crash reports next to the back up files.
Any help is very much appreciated.

Sounds more like the preference file was damaged, losing the settings for the RGB waveforms to default back to blue.
Are you on rekordbox 6?

this has happened to me - I have not updated my rekordbox yet - over 100 playlists empty - how can I see what the last backup was?
