Also please note, this is just on the visual of the waves and no issue is with the audio.
... just really annoying when im planning cue points and the waves are stuttering while playback

Rekordbox 5.8.5 waves jumpy?
Recently the waves on rekordbox have started being jumpy when i play tracks via the software. I am not using a controller or anything, simply playback and arranging tracks for live sets (cue points etc)
This has never been an issue, is there something i can change in settings?
Also my mac is a high spec with over 40GB ram so performance/latency shouldnt be an issue?

Try changing the waveform display from HIGH to MEDIUM in the preferences. Does that make a difference?
