Which version of Serato DJ Intro are you using?
When loading a PAD SCRATCH FX, do you already have a hot cue set and selected?

Pioneer SB3 Backspin FX Fade and Pad scratch is not working!
I recently purchased a Pioneer DDJ SB3 and was testing out the FX Fade functions. The hi pass, low, pass, echo and auto loop functions work. However when I attempt to use backspin functions it does not work. My firmware shows updated to most recent of 1.01 so I am not sure what the problem is. Also the pad scratch feature doesn't seem to work either. It doesn't really scratch. Just a short stutter or nothing at all. Thank you for your help.
