DDJ-400 Latency Issues - All Controller Functions

Hi everyone, I hope you are well!

Here is my set up:

Lenovo IdeaPad S145 (i5 1035G4 processor, 8gb ram, brand new laptop)

DDJ-400

2 Anker Bluetooth speakers - I have connected these via the RCA cable at the back of the controller. The connection is - RCA> 3.5mm Aux > splitter > one 3.5mm aux to each speaker.

I'm having a mare of time trying to get my new DDJ-400 to work and not lag.

1) all controls (volume, crossfader, headphone sound, filters etc) are playing at different times to the speakers. I think the 'CUE'' headphone sound is ahead of the speakers by a small amount. As for the other functions, they are all delayed by a certain amount. This obviously makes DJ'ing at all impossible. I'm actually a little relieved because I initially thought man I have LOST it.

Any help would be just hugely appreciated, I've scouted online but can find nothing applicable here. I have tried changing the buffer rate, default audio out settings etc and get no change of result that I can detect.

I'm running windows 10 and can't find ASIO drivers anywhere and not even sure if they would help.

Lastly, the CUE function on the headphone out at least works for producing sound through the headphones, but when I turn the headphone dial to 'master' and away from 'CUE' there is no sound. I get no input from the music playing through my speakers.

Any ideas at all? I'm a bit lost at this point and pioneer are understandably a bit quiet with all the corona stuff.

Thanks in advance if you do!

All the best,

Andy

Hey Andy,

The problem is likely that the speakers have some kind of audio processing taking place, causing the delay on the master making it sound out of sync with the headphones.

Regarding the master cue on the headphones, you need to engage this button to send the master to the headphone mix:
