Mixing vinyl with ddj-400 is that possible if not which Pioneer controller has a mixer?

Hi - I've just been given Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB deck for my birthday :) https://www.audio-technica.com/en-gb/at-lp120xusb

Is it possible to get it working with Rekordbox and my DDJ-400 somehow (to play vinyl records as opposed to DVS)?

The deck has a usb out so perhaps I can plug that into my laptop and configure Rekordbox to take the audio from that and route it to deck 3 so that I can control the eq's and faders? (obviously looping etc wont work)

Is this possible does anyone know?

If not what's the first (least expensive) controller in the Pioneer range that has an actual mixer in it please?

Thanks folks

Nick

Unfortunately the DDJ-400 does not have an audio input, so no, you wouldn't be able to use the two together. You would need to move up to any device which does have a line input, whether it's a controller like the DDJ-800, or a mixer such as the DJM-250MK2, or DJM-450.

Hi!

Is there any way to use thee mixer of the DJM-450 with the jogwheels etc of the ddj-400? basically use the djm-450 mixer instead of the ddj-400 mixer, if I have got both devices?

Thanks!

@Stef > Yes; the DJM can act as the audio device while the DDJ is the controller. This would allow you to use DVS input through the DJM while using hot cues and other navigation on the DDJ.
