OBS is grabbing the volume from the individual channels themselves, how do i get pioneer to have the MASTER out, as my main output volume going into OBS or other programs.
Secondly, channel 1 and channel 2 volume knobs are in the exact same position outputting the same audio levels, but inside OBS the right channel has a much weaker signal over all, thus, when i broadcast live and i move onto channel 2 the volume is about 3 / 5 db lower (not from my speakers, but the signal in OBS). To go into detail further on this issue, when i restart the controller, both signal out puts in obs match, after about 5 minutes, the right volumes cuts low again.
My work around to this is to have my soundcard as the main source in OBS not the xdj xz soundcard.
I been streaming for years on turntables and a rane 62 mixer and never had this problem, i just recently switched to xdz xz

Hey Jon,
I've just had exactly the same issue on my debut stream for an online festival - it turned out the audience were hearing the left deck about 6db louder than the right, however there were no issues when monitoring, I could only see the issue within OBS itself.
When I tried to replicate the issue by switching on the crossfader and cutting between the same track on both channels, weirdly there were no issues. When the crossfader was set to 'thru', the issue came back. I tend to use the upfaders only and switch off the crossfader, but I guess I'll need to keep it on for streams.
Hope this helps people.
Thanks,
Ryan
Actually the problem came back, the cross fader wasn't the right solution.
I noticed in loopback (an audio routing tool) that channels 5/6 were active when the right deck was playing. but 5/6/7/8 were active when the left deck was playing. The solution appears to be to create your custom routing to leave out 7/8, which are not properly connected to the right deck.

Ryan, thanks seem like that is a nice work around.
Hoping Pioneer will fix the problem and stop ignoring it, would rather not pay for a 3rd party program.
Sorry, not possible due to how these applications operate with the audio interface; a 3rd party application is required to route the audio.
So, going back to my first original comment. You are telling me that the pioneer controller can NOT be a stand alone volume output source going into obs?
How can a "top of the line" controller not send out an equal volume signal between the left and right channel? Seems like a bare minimum requirement.
Is there any recommended free applications to solve this problem?
Coming back to this topic instead of making a new one.
Is there any chance Pioneer will solve this issue? Like Jon Camileri said, it should be pretty much a basic functionality that the output soundlevel of the channels are equal. I did a live stream yesterday and only after listening to it afterwords I notice this horrible difference in channels, making the whole mix sound extremely bad.
I went ahead and installed the trial version of Loopback and this instantly solves the problem - I just think it is completely out of line to buy a $2300 controller and then have to buy a 3rd party app for another $120,- just to have equal volumes coming out of the channels. What is Pioneer's stance on this?
