DDj-1000 Rekordbox LEFT DECK ISSUES [ PLEASE HELP ]

Recently purchased a ddj 1000 rekordbox on eBay from a trusted seller. It came and was shipped in a prox hard carry case so i doubt the damage is from shipping.

It appears that the left deck doesnt work in rekordbox. The lights boot up (besides for the cue on decks 1 and 3) and the RELEASE FX does not work when pressed but the display above shows the FX. 

the left scroll wheel doesnt scroll through the list or load a song when selected and when the song is manually loaded on the left side with a mouse it does not play when play is hit. 

Please let me know if you guys have any ideas, everything seems to work besides left side and FX button.

And yes I am making sure I am on USB A for everything. It has to be a software issue because when the board is in sleep mode all the buttons light up (Even the cue).
