Unfair licensing?

Does anybody else think Rekordbox licensing is a bit unfair? EG, I have 2 CDJ-900 NXS, thats £2500 worth of kit, but I still have to buy a shitty little 150 buck controller to mix with Rekordbox. My issue is that sometimes when i'm auditioning tracks etc, setting cue points, markers, I want to run a quick test mix. I'd hoped Rekordbox would let me do this having spent so much money on the CDJ's. My issue is that I do most of my auditioning/prep work at home with a little USB controller, and the CDJ's are at my place of work. I end up testing mixes at home using MIXXX then reloading the tracks into Rekordbox to set CUES etc. Frankly, it feels a bit mean of Pioneer, I'd hoped by now expensive kit like the NXS's etc would be added to the Hardware Unlock.

Is it unreasonable of me to think this? Honestly. It p!$$3s me off loads, I feel a bit ripped off...

The main thing is this, the majority of NXS users are using flash drives so the free plan that allows you to make playlists, set hot cues, listen back on tracks and analyze songs is more than enough for those users.  You also get Pro DJ Link with the 900 NXS players. What mixer are you suing, it may unlock rekordbxo and then you'd be set.

We aren't trying to be unfair, but supporting the base that is most likely going to use the software instead of using flash drives.  Sorry if this is upsetting to you, not what we ever set out to do to our customers...
