Rekordbox Firmware update issues (DJM 450)

Hi,

 

I have had an absolute nightmare trying to update the firmware from ver 1.04 to 1.06. Have tried multiple usb keys and still getting the error 80 code when I plug in the usb containing the 1.06 update. Could somebody please help me?? 

Also after downloading the new rekordbox 6 from 5 the waveform is laggy when i play a track and overall performance is super patchy/slow 

 

I've had no issues with 5 so i have no idea what could be the problem.

 

Please let me know if anybody can advise me on where to go from here.

Getting massively frustrated now lol

Firmare:

1) Make sure the USB drive is formatted to FAT32 with Master Boot Record (MBR).

2) Download the firmware with a browser other than Safari as it can corrupt the file when it automatically unzips the file.

3) Place the unzipped file at the root of the USB drive, making sure not to change the name.

As for rekordbox, disable any functions you're not using (such as Lighting, Lyric, Video, DVS), and if browsing is slow, hide the preview waveform column by right-clicking on the header and unchecking it from the list. Our rekordbox team is working to improve that.
