Rekordbox 6.04 possibly corrupted my library and other glitches

Heya, I've already submitted this to tech support and am chatting with the very helpful Blake but just figured I'd reach out to the wider Rekordbox community, see if anyone has any ideas to help with a potentially catastrophic problem that's going to ruin about 5 - 6 years of hard work.

I mainly Audio Visual DJ in Performance mode now so thankfully can get by most weekends but still use the iTunes / Music bridge for audio sets exporting onto thumbdrives which I might play once a month.  The latest update with rekordbox has now stopped me from being able to export at all.  It comes up with an error straight away saying an Error Occurred While Exporting.  No export log is produced to reference.   Unfortunately wiping the library clean and reimporting tunes and doing a small export fixes things but that potentially means something's corrupted my library which is going to put about 5 years of memory / hotcues and labelling down the drain.  Renanaylising songs in the library still causes the error occurred when exporting.  Some tracks work when exporting manually, others don't.  When exporting a playlist, even if it has only tracks that work it still says error exporting.

I've tried importing the playlists directly to Rekordbox instead of using the sync manager but it still fails without the Bridge.  Thumbdrives have been tried on a FAT and Mac partitions both with Master Boot record.  Consistent problem on different thumbdrives too.  All thumbdrives export fine with a fresh library, but that doesn't fix about 5 / 6 years of work potentially down the drain :'-( 

Other glitches included the imported iTunes playlist folders I've copied across into native rekordbox will reload every time I start up Rekordbox, despite deleting them.  Some of the genre tags also lose the info I added to them when restarting rekordbox.  

I've copied across an older version of Rekordbox 6 over from a time machine and there's still an issue.

I do have a few older backups of my rekordbox library so whilst I might only lose 6 months work, I am also running my library parallel with my video djing library which is all working perfectly.  

Worst case scenario and my audio library is corrupted from one of the updates, how would I merge half of a my current library (the video part) with what's salvageable on the audio side of things?

Really stressed out as this is my livelihood and many months of work potentially ruined at best. 

** please note I recently reformatted my laptop but this problem was happening before the reformat as well but more intermittently.  Now it happens straight away on every export.

The tech team are reviewing it so this is just me reaching out to the wider community to see if there is any hope!
