CDJ 3000 sync issue

Had to mention: 

Picked out two tracks, which I then added to the 2 decks in Rekordbox' EXPORT mode. Then I started both tracks, nudged them out of sync, and then pressed the BEAT SYNC button. The tracks played out perfectly in sync. All the way!

Then I exported these 2 tracks to a USB drive, and loaded them onto the players: I did the same thing there, but the SYNC button always ruined the mix. The phase meter indicator has to be off by 1 millimeter in order for the two tracks to really be in sync (nudge left / right in almost every case)

I can't believe that a 2400 EUR device has a SYNC feature that I can't rely on. Traktor / Virtual DJ had this nailed for more than a decade.

And I know: I shouldn't be using the SYNC, and I won't really use it, but it is incredibly frustrating to think that I've spent so much money on these players and they can't get this right.

When I experienced similar SYNC issues with the XDJ-1000MK2, I accepted it and blamed it on the fact that they are not flagship products. But the CDJ-3000 are flagship players, they shouldn't have such issues.

So the big question: how can two tracks SYNC and play out perfectly in REKORDBOX export mode, and not on the players themselves? They work with the SAME beat grid information, so there should be NO PROBLEM.

When I pay 4800 EUROs for 2 devices, and I have them updated and set up correctly, I expect that if I play two tracks together with the SYNC button enabled, then I would hear the kicks and claps perfectly on time with each other. 

Right now I can't confirm that with my setup. Are you using the same tracks or different tracks? A Video would help.

I’m having the same issue, loading tracks both off rekordbox and or usb stick and experience issues with synch. It’s a tad off which I’ve didn’t experience with my nexus2. Very annoying! Running latest rekordbox version, and all firmware is updated. Tracks that I know for sure didn’t have a problem now do.

I'm using the same tracks. Just tried two random MP3s, and the BPM sync never worked.

So I want to understand why the same beat grid information can work on the rekordbox application, and not on the players themselves.

Basically the CDJ-3000 has problems with the beatgrid information with MP3 files.

I have same issue on my CDJ-3000 with USB where beat sync is always off.

Hey, this thread has gone quiet. Did any of you find a fix for this. I cannot get Beat Sync to work as intended. As soon as I turn it on the track falls out of sync. Adjusting it to correct the anomaly results in the Beat Sync button flashing as it should and the mix holding. However, this is not expected behaviour and I want to understand what is going on

I don't normally use Beat Sync, and only noticed it the other day. However, given the price of these it would be nice if every feature worked.
