Yes - even the oldest supported CDJ (the 400) is still compatible as an HID controller for rekordbox when used with a compatible hardware unlock device such as the DDJ-RX.

Connecting CDJ850 to a controller with rekordbox
I'm considering buying a player mostly to just use as a third jog wheel for a DDJ-RX while keeping all four of the tracks waveforms on the laptop screen. I've seen that you can do this with a CDJ2000 but would it be possible with a CDJ850 or any of the other older, less expensive players?
