SD card recommendation for CDJ-3000?

All.

Currently I am using a USB pen drive (SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.1, 256GB). But I am getting close to the capacity of it and looking for somthing bigger like 512GB. However the Extreme Pro is fantastic in regards to the the write speed when exporting from rekordbox.

I am thinking of an SD card instead of a PenDrive. I would like to still have very good write speed when exporting from rekordbox. Any recommendations?

In addition, I don't have a card reader right now in my PC (Win 10) and need to buy one as well. I assume I have to ensure the reader is not the bottleneck as well...

I can connect the reader via USB 3.0 or 3.1. Would love to hear some suggestions.

Thanks

I'd suggest a Samsung T5 SSD instead ($139 for a 1TB T5 on Amazon with r/w speeds of 540MB/s, or get the newer T7 for $159 which has r/w speeds maxing at 1050MB/s). It's a heckuva lot faster and less expensive than comparable SD or thumbdrive options (eg. the Corsair Voyager GTX 1TB at $284, max r/w speeds of 440MB/s, or a SanDisk Extreme micro SD card costing $233 for 1TB, but only offering up 160MB/s read / 90MB/s write).

That and I've seen plenty of DJs leave SD cards in players, but almost never a USB drive.

Hi Pulse.

Thanks for the hint.

I think I will go with a T5 SSD. Seem to be the better value.
