When that happens, try pressing the SYNC button on the secondary deck once more; it should snap into position.

Beat Sync - not even syncing same track
Hi,
First of all I'd like to apologise as there seems to be a lot of threads on Beat Sync that go no where, but I can't find this issue addressed anywhere.
One night beat sync was working perfectly for me and not it's not. To illustrate the problem I played the exact same track with the exact same beat grid on both decks.
When I hit play this is what I get (pictured below). In theory shouldn't the bars be lining up? 
Using a DDJ-400 on a Macbook Pro 2017 running MacOS Mojave.
