PIONEER XDJ-XZ w/ Rekordbox DJ: Vinyl Speed Adjust

Why is it that since the new update, I can't control the vinyl speed adjust: TOUCH & RELEASE simulaneously with the vinyl speed adjust knob when playing through rekordbox DJ in performance mode? I can only control the touch now, whereas I have to control the release within the settings of Rekordbox. This is no good in a live performance, and personally in live performances I constantly switch between having both completely OFF, and both ON.

How can I set it so that the vinyl speed adjust controls both touch and release again rather than just touch? This was a purposely done update as it's in the patch notes, but it makes it completely useless if you can't choose whether you want TOUCH, RELEASE or TOUCH & RELEASE.
