As @Joel says, the DJM-250MK2 will unlock those functions within rekordbox 6 with no license keys required, no additional spend necessary.

Question about my djm 250 mk2
So I'm looking on a preowned DJM 250 mk2. It doesn't come with the two license keys that came with the original prucahse. I was told that I didn't need either the rekordbox or dvs key in order to use them because its one of the hardware unlock devices. It confuses me because if there isn't keys needed in conjunction with the software why would it came with the two bundled license keys with the box? I'm trying to get a answer because I'm keen on it if it isn't true I'd have to spend extra money for the add-ons.

The license keys were required for Rekordbox 5 Performance mode and DVS functions. Using Rekordbox 6, the 250 is a hardware unlock device meaning it is the key to the software. Go with RB6, you will not have any issues and it does not cost anything to use with the 250. The software plans are for advanced functions that you may not need.
I have a 250 MK2 and love it. I added an XP2 for pad and effect functions. Did a 4 hour gig last night using the latest RB6 release with no issues.
