Did you ever get this to work?
In 6.3.0 of Rekordbox, released today, there is a note:
This sounds very suspiciously like the bug that has frustrated me for years. And this does not appear to have fixed it like described in the changelog.
In the old days before RB had alphanumeric key display support, my keys wer set in this format and the CDJs understood how to stoplight them (show relative key tracks as green). At some point many years ago the sorting on the CDJs changed and it would sort as "1A 10A 11A 12A 2A ...". Back then you could fix this by rewriting your keys as '01A 02A ... 09A 10A 11A 12A". (because 0 comes before 1 in alpha sorting). I did that and was happy for a long time.
Then when rekordbox introduced Alphanumeric key support, it broke again. On the CDJs my keys did not show with the `0` prefix, and they were sorted wrong. There was no way to get my `0` prefix back. I couldn't find a work around this time.
So the changelog was very exciting to me.. but it does not fix this problem!
Am I misunderstanding this changelog, or are things genuinely not fixed?
