Yes - you could have 16 hot cues per track, but no way to control it from the XDJ-700 (you can use keyboard shortcuts or other MIDI control).

XDJ-XZ & XDJ 700 waveform & hotcues
Hi! Quick question: I know the XDJ700 has only 3 hot cues and only shows A. B & C in the waveform...
Buuut...If I use it with the laptop in Rekordbox Performance mode) , does rekordbox show the other 5 hotcues in the laptop's waveform?

So my setup is basically the XDJ-XZ with the Laptop running RB Performance mode and I have the DDJ XP2;
My plan:
I want physical decks for Deck3&4, so I thought about the XDJ700; Connecting a pair of them with a network cables to the XZ, LINK mode to rekordbox with all of them.
Can I set my DDJ XP2 to Deck 3&4 and control hot cues D-H with it and they will be shown in RB? Is this all as easy as it sounds? :)

Yes again - the XP2 would give you access to controls for all 4 decks, so you could leave it on decks 3/4.
The 700's don't need to be connected via ProDJ Link tho; that's only for if you're in stand-alone mode. You need to run the USBs from them to the computer for control.
