Sound quality really bad when scratching (rekordbox 6.4)

I recently updated my mac to Big Sur and updated to rekordbox 6.4. Since the update the sound quality when scratching has become real horrible. I played with multiple buffer size settings and this didn't seem to fix the issue.

With catalina and rekordbox v6.2 everything was fine. I particularly notice this when I move the platter slowly. The slower I move the platter the worse the sound is and particularly when I pull the platter back the sounds is really bad to the point its painful to listen to.

I already suck at scratching but now it sounds like im murdering a cat when i do slow platter moves.

Is there some kind of setting I can play with or is this a bug with the latest release?

Help!

Mike,

Per the news announcement released November 10th, we do not recommend users upgrade to Big Sur at this time as we have not yet verified compatibility with our hardware and software. We expect the validation to be completed by late December, and any driver updates necessary will be released as they are completed.

You may be able to roll back to Catalina, the only other option would be to wait it out. Sorry!
