DDJ-200 Bluetooth disconnection

Hi,

I have had the DDJ-200 set up with my iPhone 6s via Djay for roughly 9 months. The controller has been used (via the app) on a regular basis with no faults to speak of.

Unfortunately in the last week or so, I have noticed that the Bluetooth connection between the controller and my iPhone disconnects itself after about 20 minutes into a mix.

To remedy the problem, I disconnect the Bluetooth manually, close the Djay app and then start the connection process over again. This works temporarily works, until the connection drops out by itself again.

I am aware that iPhone's have recently had a software update, so I'm wondering if that is the cause of the issue?

 

As mentioned above, the controller has worked flawlessly up until this point, but if anyone has information on my post or could assist, that would be great!

Sorry about the troubles with the DDJ-200 -- unfortunately there was a change to Bluetooth in iOS 14.2 and we're expecting that the upcoming release of 14.3 corrects this so our customers no longer have connection dropouts.

Please wait for that update and try again, if you still experience the same problems, let us know.

I've got the same issue.
I'm using the weDJ app. iOS and app are up to date. Tried an iPhone 7 and 8. But on both after sometime the bluetooth connection gets disconnected.

I read the reply and clicked the link to fill in the inquiry ticket, but that link goes to the rekordbox site. I don't use that.

What to do?

Hello,

I recently purchased the DDJ-200 and I'm experiencing the exact same issue as Ben. I have an iPhone 11 Pro. Any assistance to quickly resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I'm using the WeDJ app on my iPhone XR in iOS 14.2 and faced exactly the same bluetooth disconnection issue.

I upgraded to iOS 14.3 and now it seems to working fine.
