Noisy DVS signal using Djm 250mk2 & 1210's

Hello, I'm new to rekordbox DVS. (I've used traktor skratch some years back so familiar with how it works). I'm running the latest version of rekordbox 6 and have the latest firmware on the djm250mk2. Win10 i7 with 4G ram & SSD. When I try to calibrate the DVS signal it's showing up very noisy. It's a circle of sorts but filled with dots and crap. Same issue on both 1210 decks. Earth leads are sound and connected. If I run mixer in normal phono vinyl mode it sounds good and no major mains hum etc. Tried 2 types of stylus, ortofon and Stanton. Both giving same issue. I would attach picture of the waveform but not sure if possible on this forum? Many thanks to anyone who can offer some help or advice.
