Hi everyone,
When I record my sets with Rekordbox the sound that is recorded is somewhat low quality (I can hear a cracking sound), as if I am recording a Vinyl set. When I Record directly to the second USB port on the XDJ-XZ the sound is perfect. A already changed the USB cable between laptop and XDJ-XZ, tried all the USB ports on my laptop and also replaced the power adapter of the laptop.
My gear is:
Pioneer DJ XDJ-XZ (Firmware v 1.12)
Rekordbox 6.4.2
HP Probook 440 G7 with Windows 10 pro (firmware and Windows fully updated)
Al the latest drivers for the XDJ-XZ are installed.
I already tried a reinstall of the laptop, but unfortunately without any success. Is anybody else having this problem?
Hope to hear from you.
Kind regards,
Erik Jan

Hey Erik,
Have you tried disabling the Intel Turbo Boost function? If that method does not work, you may need to disable it within your system BIOS (it's actually the preferred method, but not many people know how to do it, and the instructions vary from system to system).
Hi,
Yes I have tried turning off the Intel Turbo Boost in the BIOS and also with the program Throttlestop. But unfortunately Rekordbox won’t startup without Turbo Boost on. I changed the Maximum Processor state to 99% but that still gives bad sound quality.
