Transferring vinyl to Rekordbox recorded time going up slow & then play back really fast & distorted

Hi Guys. I cannot find my license Key. I am paying for the Creative Plan so not sure which box that comes under.

Over the last few weeks i have been transferring my old vinyl into rekordbox via my Audio Technics turntable attached to my laptop (Rekordbox) and my Pioneer DDJ-400.

I have transferred lots of tracks across without issue and fine playback, then suddenly the other day I noticed that the "show recorded time and remaining time" was going up very slowly. For example before when I transferred the vinyl across a 6 minute 12 seconds song would show as 6:12 on the recorded time and play back was perfect. Suddenly though that timer goes up slowly and say a song of 6 min 12 seconds would show on the recorded time as 3 minutes or so on completion as the time is going up much slower for some reason. Then on play back the song is playing 2/3 times faster and is very distorted.

Could someone let me know what to do to get back to normal please.

Thank you very much

Mark Taylor

Hey Mark,

The best thing to do is check what you have set for the recording preferences for the input for the sample and bitrate. If I had to guess, I'd say the sample rate is a mismatch for the recording vs. playback. If you can click on the file in rekordbox, then open the info panel to the right to show the details about the song, send a screenshot of that. Next, take a screenshot of the audio configuration from the rekordbox preferences. Post'm here and we'll see what might be going on.
