Technical Issue - DDJ 1000 et OS big sur

Hello,
I’m writing to you because even with the new driver, my DDJ 1000 still not working with Rekordbox 6.5. I followed all the following instructions :
  • Unplug the USB from the DDJ.
  • Go to your Applications and open the Utilities folder, launch the Terminal app.
  • Type (or copy/paste) the following command:
  • sudo kextcache --clear-staging
  • That's a space after "kextcache" then two hyphens.
  • You will need to enter your Mac user password (or just hit enter if you don't have a password); it will not show any characters onscreen as you type, press return when you are done and the process will run.
  • Download the driver.
  • Open the driver package and run the uninstaller file.
  • Reboot your computer.
  • Open the driver package and run the driver installation file.
  • After the installation has completed, give the drivers permission on the Security & Privacy page.
  • Reboot your computer.
  • Reconnect the DDJ and test as normal.
I retried 2 times but I still have "audio unavailable" and the controller doesn’t work.

Could you please help me?

Thanks,
Pierre Vérez

Hi,

Yes I followed the installation instructions from Pioneer, I deleted and installed again Rekordbox, I tried everything several times since yesterday but my controller still doesn't work. I still have "audio unavaillable".

My DDJ 1000 worked perfectly before Big Sur and this new driver. I don't know what to do.

I followed your upgrade information and have my MBPRO on the latest version on Big Sur which is 11.2.1. Here is my issue the Controller shows to be connected, it loads songs and the play/pause works. The unfortunate thing is that no pad lights, no cue circle, basically no lights but it does respond. Now to make it work I do the Virtual DJ Fix and all works. Basically YOu Open Virtual DJ let it recognize the 1000-SRT then open Serato and close Virtual DJ and all Pads, lights, cue circles, etc work. The pain in the rear is I have to do this every time I open/close Serato. Any ideas on a permanent fix?

@Art > You have a DDJ-1000SRT; that is working fine with the drivers, the problem is Serato DJ Pro is not working fine with Big Sur; they have not yet provided the update.

@Pierre > Did you reboot after the installation? And were you installing the drivers without the DDJ connected?
