Pavel,
I'm sorry, it's not in the cards. There is no interest by Pioneer DJ in creating a Linux (or WINE) compatible version of rekordbox.
I seen topics where Pioneer employees told that interest into linux version is so small that its not worth to invest.
I just want to mention:
There is not much comments because linux users are more used to search for answers instead of asking. I would dare to say that average linux user is more experienced in searching for solutions that mac/windows users, and i see that as a reason why they moved to linux. because they found better solution for BSOD or overpriced hardware.
And small interest into linux is mostly caused by companies like Pioneer (one example of milions). Most people wouldnt choose better os just because theyr favorite software manufacter just refuse to support that os.
So, i challenge you to fight against this Apple and Microsoft monopols, instead of using it as an poor argumment.
Btw, you dont need to write even one line of code for linux.
Wine (windows compatibility layer) is working perfectly in linux without
any performance loss. You would need just optimalize your windows software to be compatible with wine (like not using nonsensical api calls and so on...) This way it should be very easy for you, and requires almost no investment.
