Lost Playlists

I recently lost my ext hard drive through corruption. I have managed to recover all the files successfully and put onto a new ext hard drive but when I plug it into the XDJ700 the files are there but no playlists. When I load the drive in Rekordbox it is the same. I think before the crash I used Rekordbox with internal database but all files & playlists came from ext drive. I have tried swapping database and running backup etc but no luck. My question is, the playlists must be stored in the ext drive to display in the XDJ so how can I find these and restore them?

Edit - I'm looking to restore missing playlists from an export device. I have a backup of all the folders before it went corrupt but the playlists aren't showing up.
