XDJ-XZ Freezing Up

I already created a support ticket Sunday but wanted to post this to the forum in the meantime in case any users have found a solution to this problem while I await an official response.

When using the XDJ-XZ in performance mode, I have random occurrences where the hardware will freeze (VU meters frozen, all elements on screen paused, no buttons respond, music continues to play and the Rekordbox software continues functioning–though will not respond to any user input on the hardware. The only way to fix the issue is to power cycle the unit. This had been happening sporadically, but this past Saturday it happened twice at a very high paying gig for a client. Luckily I had a backup iPad connected to a secondary mixer so I was able to play it off. However, when paying over $2k for a system, this shouldn't be happening.

The freeze happens randomly and seems to happen most often when I am dragging a file from within the rekordbox software to one of the decks–though there have been times where it just freezes at random without me doing anything. I've tried replicating the issue using the same tracks that I attempted to load when the freeze occurs, but it ends up playing just fine. I've tried the usual remedies: a different USB cable, different USB inputs on the CPU, etc. but have had no luck. At no point does the CPU meter spike.

I've tried to replicate the issue with my NXS2 setup (DJMNXS2/CDJNXS2) but have not been able to. It seems to only happen with the XDJ-XZ and after checking out the forum, it seems I'm not alone with this problem.

I have another gig this weekend so I'm hoping to get this resolved ASAP.

Connections
I have the XDJ-XZ connected to my MacBook Pro and the RB-DMX connected to the MacBook Pro as well. The library is installed on the internal hard drive. Both are connected to the factory USB, no dongles/thunderbolt adapters are used.
