DDJ 400 cue & play button lights turn off and output audio to speakers stop.

I have a brand new DDJ 400 controller, when I connect my USB to the laptop everything lights up perfect. All the buttons work and audio comes out from the speakers. However, 5 minute later the right cue and both play buttons lights turn off and the audio stops coming out of the speaker. The buttons are still responsive as the software shows the music is playing and the music can be paused or cued but the cue and play buttons are not lit up and no sound comes out from the speaker. All the other buttons have remained on.

I have changed USB port but there is no change in the result.

Pleas help me, I am new to rekordbox so I am unsure if I have a wrong setting but the controller works perfect for the first 5 minutes and then stops outputting audio.

It sounds like the computer's possibly not providing adequate power or the USB port is going to sleep. What is the make & model of computer in use, and have you tried a different USB cable as well?

I don't have another USB cable that has the correct fitting for the DDJ controller.

The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite

Intel i3 processor

Michael,

In order to properly diagnose if the issue is the controller, the cable, or the computer, you may need to purchase another USB cable or test with another computer.

@Firat > It may be the USB port is not providing adequate power to the DDJ, please try using a different computer for troubleshooting.
