DDJ-200 splitter

I have recently bought a DDJ-200 second hand. Everything was in the box except for the splitter cable. So I went to a local store and bought a 3,5 mm splitter cable with 2 female inputs and an aux point. (Here is a link to the website which is dutch : https://www.allekabels.nl/audio-splitter/1654/1285074/jack-splitter-kabel.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwnueFBhChARIsAPu3YkSsx4ZZKZyOUMv38YpRn_4PCfk0bNuQye-25Oar1oaeqXg1Wv-8kpUaAqd4EALw_wcB ) . After plugging it in and connecting my laptop, headphones and speaker, I can only hear one of the songs and only either on my headphones or on the audio of the computer itself. I thought the splitter normally provided was just a simple splitter, or do I need a Pioneer one in order to be able to hear music over my headphones and on the speakers?

Hi Jan,

The problem with that splitter is it's stereo:

Input: Jack 3.5mm stereo male,
Output: 2x Jack 3.5mm stereo female

The original splitter provided with the DDJ-200 is to two mono signals; one for left and one for right, with the headphones and master being split between the two.

If one was not included in the box, I'd suggest contacting the retailer or Pioneer DJ support in your country to see if they can provide one for you.

Hi Pionner, my cable supplied in the box stopped working, and I got a new ones but it doesn't work.
The audio goes to my headphone, but only in one side, so Im not able to play with ddj200 and rekordbox. Both cue 1 and 2 only goes to the right side of the headphone. THe splitter cable sign in the rekordbox is ticked

Can you please help me what to do

thanks
