Hello everybody,
before i start i will inform you all, that i have already have a ticket and working with PioneerDJ on it.
My set is this:
2x CDJ-400, DJM-250Mk2, DDJ-XP1 and RekordBox 6.1.1 on a Macbook Pro 13" MacOS 10.15.17 16Gb RAM I5 (my regular laptop) and RekordBox 6.2 on a MacBook Pro 15" MacOS 10.13.6 8Gb RAM I7 (my solely RekordBox laptop)
I was using my Rekordbox nicely and upgraded from 5 to 6 and so on to 6.1.1 on both machines.
The laptop i use for DJing is de bigger 15" and last week or a little earlier (first week of october) i was experiencing that i have track loading issues with my beatportlink account and RekordBox.
So when 6.2 came out i immediately installed it and that did not work as well.
The 13" i have not installed 6.2.
The only thing i have done is that i tried to convert some spotify lists to beatport with Tunemymusic from an email from beatport form 12-october-2020.
and then after several hours i got lots of music which i could not find on beatport but now it worked includind album pictures, key, bpm and i could play the music.
e.g Devine, Lime Bobby Orlando all the great stuff from the eighties :)
It worked like a charm, and although normally you would not have these albums on Beatport it worked, and if not available on beatport then it would be ok with me anyway.
But it is easier toe have these converted playlists form beatport imported into rekordbox and use the music than adding my SSD.
but after several days it stopped working.
no matter what, ALL files from beatport, be it in my playlists or via direct search and loading, failed with loading music track errors and finally a download error box in rekordbox.
I have logged off from beatport
then shut rekordbox off
restarted my macbook
starterd rekordbox
within rekordbox i entered my credentials for beatportlink
alle conencted
but no loading and errors
And i have deleted all my play lists in beatport and rekordbox to be shure
I have deleted Rekordbox 6.2, installed 6.1.1 again, 5 etc.
i have reinstalled the MacOS, i have done all i can figure out. but it wont work.
Only my MP3 collection on a seperate SSD works fine.
But now the clue: my other macbook operating with 6.1.1 does work fine no problem whatsoever.
So what can be the problem of the DJ macbook i have after reinstalling its OS and Rekordbox etc? Who can help me?

An update; I have fully deleted the disk and re structured the SSD, fully reinstalled the MacOS and, DJM-250Mk2 Drivers and Rekordbox 6.2, logged in Beatportlink within Rekordbox and i could load music again. I am a little reluctant to use my playlists again. Being that this was a really weird problem.
So PioneerDJ, do you think that there can be a faulty song in my playlist on Beatport which will F@#$%^ up my rekordbox again or ....
Personally, I don't feel the nuclear option was the best course of action when our support team was trying to troubleshoot things and determine the cause, but to answer your question - no, I don't believe that a rekordbox playlist will be the source of library corruption, but that said, there's no harm in creating a backup of your database via File > Library > Backup Library.
