Rank column in Related Tracks

OK, so I'm trying to figure out what is the RANK column for. It only shows up in Related Tracks (not in regular playlists) In the manual it says: [Rank] Tracks are ranked in the relevant order based on the conditions....

Does anyone have more information? What conditions effect the values in this column?

Just noticed the same. The category isn't selectable/visible from a regular playlist but it's from the related. However for me the rank numbers are visible in the regular playlist (as well as related)

The effect is has is that you can order the tracks in which they are displayed. So rather than searching which track to play next you can put each track in order. Similar how you would sort to have BPM from high to low.

When you click sort and drag tracks around you will see the number for the track below it go up (or rather down to a smaller number).

In playlist the column is called # and yes, it works as you would expect. But in Related, it's a totally different column, called RANK. You can't drag tracks in Related. Still trying to figure out what this column is for...

You're correct.

I'd speculate that the numbering in this case would be tracks that match the parameters the most listed from most to least.

It sucks that it's not possible to re-order the related tracks in the same order as in the playlist from which they are being pooled. For example, you created a playlist and then dragged tracks around to create a perfect order for your set. Then you start playing one of the tracks on Master deck, and go to Related Tracks BPM + KEY to choose the next track. The perfect order you made isn't kept there, tracks are unorganized, and are all over the place. Yes, you can sort them by BPM, Artist, Title, Date, etc, but there is no way to keep the same order as in playlist, which you have spent so much time reordering.

This makes the Related Tracks feature useless for me :((((
