What is the use of the audio device "line 2-xdj-xz" showing up in windows when console is connected over USB?

Hello and good day. We're having big problems routing the sound from the XDJ-XZ to be seen by OBS for streaming. We tried with Voicemeter and Virtual Cable as the guide here on this page suggests, but there are random glitches/hickups in the sound and yesterday during the stream Voicemeter crashed twice and only a reboot of the computer made it able to get sound again ruining the stream.

Now I'm trying to figure out what all the settings mean. In the meantime I'm wondering what is the use of this audio device showing up in Windows.
