xdj-rr / rekordbox started to glitch

my unit was working fine until recently, i updated windows 10 and since then ive had several issues and switched to another laptop that wasnt updated and still playing up, the latest win 10 update messed things up big time, i changed buffer settings, tried reinstalling drivers, all the text book fixes

i switched the usb cable and port, but still glitches when im playing and not the actual recording sometimes which is strange, i cant work out if its recordbox or the controller?

its really inconsistent but annoying, as ive switched ports, cables and laptops now

please advise
