Re RB6 Auto relocate

Hey everyone I am so frustrated with rekordbox 6 and its auto relocate feature lol. Does it usually take a long time (2 days plus) for a large collection (24k tracks) to find all missing files due to the folder structure of the bak folder?.I am using an T7 SSD with the Rekordbox backup folder to find everything . I can't seem to find another way to do it from restoring back up because whatever computer you restore it on it auto copies all files to the main drive of that specific computer. Id like all music files to be on my external via restore.

 

I am using MAC OS Catlina latest version 

Rekordbox 6.4.1 latest

How do I copy my full collection including playlists and intelligent ones from my PC  to a external drive and have the same collection on my macbook pro. All my files are on different drives on my pc. And when I do a backup/restore on my macbook pro there is not enough space to fit everything because I don't get the option to select copy music files to External drive instead of internal. Right now I made two backups one with files and one without I used this one to restore without files and then using auto relocate on the Rekorbox.bak folder to find all files. Its taking a long time. I have 24k files to find could this take a few days to finish searching ?

@Michael > If you're not trying to relocate, but consolidate, simply perform a backup and include the music; it will create a music backup folder, then you can move the entire folder - but yes, you'd need one drive large enough to house all of the music you have spread over the drives.
