rekordbox 6.4.1 major issues

I updated to ver 6.4.1,  Now Rekordbox takes forever to open, and when it does the audio dropout meter is stuck at 100%. If your even able to get a track to load it plays very slow and sounds like crap.

The picture shows the audio dropout meter stuck at 100% as soon as you open the software with no tracks even loaded.  pic link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/alt8uyolm3cs6on/audio%20drop%20out%20meter.jpg?dl=0

Computer specs are core i7 with 16gig of ram on windows 10.  Everything worked normally prior to the software update.

Any suggestions?

I am not familiar with the audio dropout meter. Are you referring to the indicator in the upper right corner left of the time? That is the computer cpu meter and it is pegged at 100%. You have something consuming your computer resources. Bring up the task manager and look at what processes are running. It is recommended that you run RB standalone and stop all other applications. Also stop your anti-virus program as it will sometimes consume resources. Here is a link to a good video for tuning your system.

I have a similar problem on ver 6.4.2 all was good the last couple of days since update but now cpu meter in rekordbox is near the top and audio is distorting.my computer is Windows 10 build 18363 2.6Ghz i5 8gb ram. In wimdows task manager the cpu is on 15-20% so something doesn't add up

Update problem seems to have remedied itself after unplugging and plugging back in the laptop power supply.

I checked task manager and CPU was very low, yet in Rekorbox it was pegged.  Tried numerous things, like rebooting, reinstalling etc.  I had to go back to ver 5.8.  Unfortunately, I couldn't find a link to an earlier version prior to 6.4.1 (say 6.0.2 to try).  Once I went back to ver 5.8 everything worked perfect again.

Where can you DL earlier versions of 6?  I would like to try upgrading versions one at a time and see if it's only an issues with 6.4.1 on this PC.

The primary reason I needed to upgrade to 6.4.1 was for an update related to beatport link.
