DJM-450 Rekordbox DVS no signal (only on one turntable)

I received brand new turntables (Pioneer PLX1000) and mixer (Pioneer DJM-450) today and vinyl only works perfectly with both turntables.

However I have a pair of DVS and I am trying to use those with my new set up. One turntable (Deck 2 in the screenshot) works great but the other one (Deck 1 in the screenshot) has no signal, just a straight line when I press play with my track loaded up on Rekordbox.

Everything on my mixer is set to PC (not PHONO or LINE) which I believe is correct.

I have read pretty much every forum on here with this problem and have tried everything has been advised to get it to work, (unplugged EVERYTHING and put it back in, installed all the newest drivers for the DEJM-450 on my Mac, changed the cartridge on the turntable that isn't working, played around with rekordbox settings etc etc) but still nothing!

(I will include screenshots)

I have no idea what to do and I am so disappointed as these are brand new. I feel it must not be the turntable itself as vinyl records work on it fine? Some help would be great - thank you!!

A straight line indicates that one of the L or R signals is not being received. If you flipped the connections around, you'd likely see a horizontal line instead of vertical.

Please check the cabling as well as the connection for the cartridge / headshell.
