Software Mic Effects???

I just wanted to know if their was an option to lock certain effects to the mic without using the hardware effects. I would like to be able to set reverb to the mic and set it and forget it. Switching from mic to master with the hardware effects is kind of a pain. I have my mic connected via xlr on my DDJ 1000 and prefer to keep it that way to be able to use the talk over function. That feature isn't available if I hook up the mic via USB. Any help would be appreciated!
