My DDJ-RZX is away for repair. I am using DVS with Rekordbox 5.8.5 but I want to migrate to v6 however, I cannot activate the licence without my controller. I bought the DJM900NXS to use with DVS whilst the controller gets repaired however, this did not come with a licence (surprising given the price tag). Can you remotely activate my RB6 licence so I can begin the migration? The option of entering my licence key has been removed on RB6 and I cannot use it as I am without the controller.
Please help!
Hi Paul,
rekordbox 6 works on a hardware-unlock system; even if you had your DDJ-RZX, you'd need to have it connected in order to use the rekordbox functions intended for that hardware - the DJM wouldn't be functional without the RZX also connected.
