rekordbox 5 update version compatible with Big Sur

In my previous post I was asking for an official release date of rekordbox 5 compatible with Big Sur.

I have got a reply stating that this update is planned but Pioneer DJ is giving priority to other new products for supported SW.

I have got an extra comment from PioneeerDJ that RB5 wasn't planned, initially, to get an update for Big Sur, however they decided to make it available soon.

I would like to kindly remind you that Big Sur was released at begin of November 2020 (without counting all official betas sing April 2020). 

You even add a new product (DDJ-FLX6) after Big Sur's release date without supplying drivers support for RB5/RB6 (on Big Sur), yet.

I'm afraid that Pioneer DJ, it will release this sought last ever updated version of RB5 but users (like me) they will use it for a very short time considering that Apple releases a brand new MacOS every year.

@Donato > I'll give you the same answer I gave previously... rekordbox 5 was never going to have any updates after the release of rekordbox 6, but then the decision was made to provide one final update for Big Sur compatibility for those users who opted not to upgrade to 6.

This compatibility update is still on its way, but we are not providing a timeline. I'm sorry if you are in a situation where rekordbox 5 does not work for you, however there are two options:

1) Roll back your OS to a version that is supported.

2) Upgrade to rekordbox 6.

There are no plans to include support for the FLX6 in rekordbox 5.
