That's actually a massively intensive process, so we recommend you add the tags on the mobile device, have it sync back to the computer collection, then it can be updated.

RB6 Phone App Bug / Missing Feature
First of .. Major Major Praise on the phone app!! I have been marking my loops, mem points, cue points, and Tags!! AMAZING!!
When you select track Mytags on the phone app. There isn't an option for the Mytags to be written into the comments - like there is on the Desktop App. Can this be added??
I always have Mytags saved to comments so they can be searched.
The way it is now all the tagging you do on the app is NOT searchable on the desktop app

Yes, I have done that. Here is my workaround and my suggestion:
The workaround:
- Make a Tag and add it to every track I add tags to on my phone
- Open the desktop app and open an Intelligent Playlist that looks for that tag
- Select all in the playlist and remove the tag. (This Automatically writes the newly added tags to the track
Proposed Fix/update
- Tags are changed on the phone
- When the tags are synced back with the computer from the cloud a script is ran that writes these tags to the comments
- The tags are written to the comments when synced. back to the computer NOT when on the phone. I agree this would be very intensive.
The only reason I stress the importance of such a script is because Mytags are NOT searchable so the tagging on the phone will be a waste unless you use an intelligent playlist to search for the tags.
The workaround might be enough right now but as soon as people really start using RB and find out Value of Mytags and RB6 I think it will need to be addressed.
