Star ratings done on USB via XDJ700 do not save to rekordbox.

I rate songs on my USB as I mix based on my enjoyment of them and these never transfer to rekordbox once I sync the USB. The ratings are then deleted the next time I plug in the USB to the XDJ. Ratings work via the rekordbox desktop app, but it's much easier to rate them on the XDJ itself for me. Does anyone know if there is a fix? Rekordbox is updated to the latest version. thank you

Did you right-click on the USB device on the left side of rekordbox and click "Update collection"?

I have the same problem. Two important things:
1. Rekordbox deleting stars which you made on XDJ/CDJ in the moment when your USB is being connected.

2. Even If you have information about stars on the device "update collection" button is not working. I made some stars rating in the device tree in rekordbox, but when I tried to sync it with the main collection by using "update collection" nothing happened. I also tried to use "sync manager" and "cue grid info" button, but it now synced the stars rating.

So two question: how to set rekordbox to not deleting stars ratings from USB and how to import stars rating from the device?

misprint:

I also tried to use "sync manager" and "cue grid info" button, but it NOT synced the stars rating.

If you had the sync manager enabled, it could have potentially wiped out the changes from the drive. But if it was DISABLED and then you right-clicked on the drive to "Update Collection," those ratings would have been applied from the USB drive to the songs in the collection.

Pioneer — how is this REMOTELY intuitive?

The most logical way to transfer the Star Ratings from USB to main library would be as per the process the original poster describes — ie. by syncing the drive. Not with some hidden Right-click nonsense.

BTW, I tried what you suggested, and it didn't work. I cannot see any tracks that I gave a one star rating to.

What is the fix for this?
