Playing vinyl -- analog audio or a DVS control vinyl?

DDJ-1000 srt - Only one speaker working - Vinyl
Hoping to get some help. I have hooked my technics turntables up to the DDj 1000 but only one speaker is working when i play vinyl.
When i use the controller and play through Serato, both speakers work as normal.
Anything i'm missing? Ive tried all switches on the unit and also at the back. Ive tried searching within serato but cant find anything obvious that will change it.

Normal vinyl, not DVS.
I havent tried DVS yet as dont own coded vinyl, but i do have the DVS expansion pack

In that case, best to check the RCA cable from the turntable; switch the inputs on the DDJ end, if the output channel changes, then it's something to do with the turntable - either the cable or the headshell connection / cartridge wiring.
